Will the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN 2022 take place with spectators?

According to the current status, we assume that the 29th TERRA WORTMANN OPEN can take place from June 11th to 19th, 2022 with spectators. As the organizer, we are subject to the provisions of the applicable Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). We are in constant contact with the responsible authorities and will inform you promptly via all channels available to us if we are given different specifications.

I don't feel safe to attend the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN due to Covid-19. Can I get my tickets refunded?

If you are unable to use the tickets you have already purchased, please send an e-mail (karten@owl-arena.de) to the OWL ARENA TICKET CENTER, stating your customer details.

Are the tickets I have already bought valid or do I have to exchange them?

Tickets already purchased for the years 2020 and 2021 remain valid for the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN 2022 for the respective day of the week/seat. Only the date has changed. An exchange is not necessary.

Are 11,500 viewers really allowed per day?

We are currently planning to run the tournament at full capacity. A final decision on this can only be made at short notice on the basis of the then applicable protection ordinance of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).

2G, 2G+, 3G, mask requirement – ​​what are the rules for visiting the tournament?

It is our aim to enable a safe visit to the tournament. We are in close contact with the local health authorities in the Gütersloh district in order to implement the recommended protective measures. Which regulations (2G/3G+/3G/mask obligation) apply to tournament attendance can only be decided at short notice on the basis of the then applicable protection ordinance of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the current infection situation.

In addition to the measures that apply nationwide, the medical station on the arena site is manned by medically trained employees and paramedics who are trained in dealing with infectious diseases. In consultation with the responsible cleaning services, the frequency of the cleaning carried out, especially in the area of ​​the sanitary facilities and heavily frequented areas such as entrances, door handles, railings, etc., will be increased. Additional disinfectant dispensers will be installed both in the entrance area of ​​the OWL ARENA and on the catering level, as well as in the sanitary facilities and in the lobby of the COURT HOTEL.

I have already booked a hotel/train journey to attend the tournament. What happens to this if no viewers are allowed again?

As the tournament organizer, we are not responsible for reimbursement of travel expenses. The reimbursement conditions of the respective service provider apply.
