Wednesday, 21 June, will now also be the spectacular "Roger-Federer-Day" at Germany's most important tournament – and thus also a very special day of celebration for all fans of the 20-time Grand Slam winner. "The rise of our tournament to world-class level is closely associated with Roger," said Ralf Weber (Tournament Director and Managing Partner OWL ARENA). "He has acted as an outstanding ambassador for us over all this time and produced headlines around the globe." The program will include Federer being honoured on Centre Court and will have numerous other activities to celebrate Federer and support the "Roger Federer Foundation". The foundation is primarily concerned with educational projects on the African continent under the champion's patronage and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
