Sunday at the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN is all about Alexander Zverev. One week after winning his first Grand Slam title at the French Open, Germany’s number one will be officially honored on Center Court at the heristo-arena in Halle/Westphalia. The ceremony will begin (slightly later than originally planned) at 2:30 p.m. and will take place on Center Court as part of the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN. Together with Sven Wortmann, a member of the Supervisory Board of WORTMANN AG, and DTB President Dietloff von Arnim, Tournament Director Ralf Weber will honor Alexander Zverev for his success in Paris.
The visit by the newly crowned Grand Slam champion holds special significance for the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN. For many years, Zverev has been one of the tournament’s most recognizable faces and has close ties to Halle. Immediately following the ceremony, he will take time for the fans and be available for an autograph session.
