In attendance were the top stars of the main draw, including Americans Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz, as well as Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime. Germany’s number one, Alexander Zverev, also made sure to stop by—accompanied by his long-time partner, Sophia Thomalla.
Amid mild summer temperatures and a relaxed barbecue setting, the players used the evening to unwind away from the competition and strike up conversations with one another. After intense training sessions and matches, the pressure of the sport gave way to a relaxed, almost carefree atmosphere. Well into the night, guests in the VIP area chatted, laughed, and soaked up the special tournament atmosphere.
On the terrace of the event center, the Court Hotel team provided a variety of culinary delights with a diverse buffet and several barbecue stations—freshly prepared, fragrant, and perfect for the balmy summer evening.
Schlager singer Roberto Blanco, who has been closely associated with the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN for many years and was also among the guests, added a touch of celebrity to the event.
Many VIP guests finally rounded off the evening with a glass of champagne or Prosecco from Bouvet in a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere.
