Tournament director Ralf Weber and wife Irina welcomed numerous world-class players, for instance the world’s No. 7 Andrey Rublev from Russia, Japanese Ace Kei Nishikori (ATP 57), as well as American trio Sebastian Korda (ATP 52), Austin Krajicek (ATP Doppel 50) and Sam Querrey (ATP 63). The hotel director, Lutz Lachmann, was happy to enable a little variety for the players in the middle of a stressful tournament week: "The players receive their steak directly from the barbecue and take some time to talk to the kitchen crew. That creates real atmosphere.” Today, on Thursday, the quarter final games will be decided in the last four remaining matches at the most important ATP tournament in Germany.
