The 31st Terra Wortmann Open will once again be a sporting highlight in the city of Halle (Westphalia), which not only inspires thousands of visitors every year in terms of sport, but also puts the city of Halle (Westphalia) with its cosmopolitan welcoming culture in the public eye in terms of tourism and media.

I am delighted to be able to welcome you all to our city!

In my opinion, the organisers have once again succeeded in putting together a top-class field of participants and an appealing and attractive social programme for the tournament, so that nothing will stand in the way of sporting and social enthusiasm this year.

I would also like to thank all supporters and helpers in front of and behind the scenes, without whom the organisation of such a major event would not be possible.

I am looking forward to interesting encounters on the "Haller Tennisrasen" and am counting on fair play from all participants throughout the tournament.
